Jarod has worked in broadcasting, media and digital for over 20 years. In 2011, he took a chance and went all in as a co-founder of Spiracle Media. Since its inception, Jarod has been pivotal in managing partnerships and driving creative growth.
He is a firm believer that you should pursue personal aspirations and also maintains that some of the best opportunities find you. Jarod never envisioned a career in broadcasting or as a business owner, but is thrilled to get to pursue both, and enjoys the relationships that come with each opportunity.
Spiracle has been recognized as an Inc 5000 company and one of the Best Places to Work in Charlotte on five different occasions. In addition, Spiracle landed on the Charlotte Business Journal’s Fast 50 list for three consecutive years. The team’s work in the video storytelling space has won a variety of regional and national awards.
In addition, Jarod currently serves as the play-by-play voice of the Davidson College men’s basketball radio network and on the board of Junior Achievement of Central Carolinas. He is a former participant in the SBA Emerging Leaders Program, the Harvard Business School’s Management Development Program offered at Queens University of Charlotte, and the CBJ Leadership Trust. Jarod is also active within Back Creek Presbyterian Church in Charlotte where he serves as an Elder.
He received a degree in Corporate Communication from Walsh University in North Canton, OH, and participated in the Washington Center for Internships as a Senior, working at both the White House and Capitol.
Jarod is a native of Johnstown, PA, and currently resides in Harrisburg, NC, with his wife Jacie and three children; Judson, Landon, and Charis.
